DAVID GETZIN

(Owner, Design Lead)

David is a designer and architectural historian with a master’s in design studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (class of 2011) after working with Apple Inc in Chicago and Cupertino. He has worked closely with noted Architect and author Christopher Alexander, developer of the Pattern Language and Form Language methods. After working with design firms in the New York area, he has co-authored with Bryan Mock “Method Shapes Morphology” a case study peer-reviewed and published by PURPLSOC, 2017. David's podcast laid groundwork for applied method that he shared in teaching students in the Sorrento Design Program, design instruction in Italy.

After designing several projects, including offices and a family home in Iowa, he relocated to South Pasadena, California, where he manages an office.
